We had our wedding here and overall things went well. Our biggest complaint was with Amy, the person in charge of event coordination. She was off of work the entire summer before our November wedding, so waiting a month in between responses to emails made planning tricky. She also told us that we didn't have to clean up the ballroom until the next day. When we showed up to remove all of our stuff in the morning, we noticed that our disposable cameras had been thrown away. This was then blamed on us not having our things out the night of the wedding and we are not being offered any compensation. We really did have a great wedding, just be forewarned that everything that Amy says. you should get in writing so that your belongings don't end up in a dumpster.
We had a family gathering in a Party Room by the swimming pool. The restaurant had a special Thanksgiving Meal for 10 people so we had ordered 3 of those ahead of time. It was real tasty! And the pies we're outstanding!!! We had plenty of food. And what is Thanksgiving without leftovers? No worries as we even had leftovers!!! The children were greatly entertained by the pool. We had plenty of room to do crafts in the atrium area. It was a great day for all.
Attended a holiday event. Meeting rooms were clean. I appreciate that the view of the pool was blocked from the hallway, to give hotel guests some privacy.
We had a big Thanksgiving dinner for our family. Ordered food from the Holiday Inn and it was great and more than enough. Highly recommended.
Very comfortable place to stay. Front desk personnels go above and beyond to accommodate and help customer's requests and needs. I highly recommend this place not only for the company that I work for but also to my family and friends. Ideal place to stay for business and leisure. Strategic location to major business establishments, cultural and civic centers, as well as scenic areas. Housekeeping staff are helpful and personable.
